In the Reagan era the Nuclear Clock reached four minutes to midnight. In 2013 The Freedom Clock has reached one minute to sunset and we are in mortal danger of losing Freedom as we know it,not by the hand of some alien or foreign invading force but at the hand of our own government. The Australian Government is no longer in the service of its people.The Australian Government has become subservient to the whims of Lobbyists representing Transnational Corporate Interests. Your Government is prepared to act transparently in their interests but not yours. The New Zealand Government and governments of smaller nations have been much more oppositional to aspects of the TPP which the USA is trying to force upon the peoples of twelve Pacific Rim Nations without consulting them. From information to hand it is clear that the Australian Government has been the least defensive of their peoples rights to things we value such as Internet Freedom and the rights of future governments to make unrestricted decisions in the interests of our people and our environment- rather than being rendered subservient to Transnational Corporate interests.
In order to stop the Freedom Clock reaching Darkness we must act in unison. And we must act now.
