#Occupy4Homeless : New resource for coming Sydney's unsheltered community.

| when Occupy Sydney brought in this fully certified Food supply unit City of Sydney anti Homeless campaign threatened to seize it. Unlike City of Sydney Occupy do NOT operate as a Feeder service for the "Marginalised people monetisation industry. |
Recent enquiries among the homeless community in Sydney City elicited but one homeless person who did not feel our service is needed.There was otherwise unanimous support for our return. We are working on a new model which will deliver similar 24-7 food and resource services.
The new homeless service will use our tried and tested crowd source method of raising resources but have some tweaks to services which aim to end homelessness.

Our major homelessness strategy though focusses on an end result of "zero involuntary homelessness" -meaning no Australian resident who wants a home should be without one that is affordable. Affordable meaning costing 25% of income without subsidies. To achieve this in the long term will need a quantum shift in publicly driven policy. Short to medium term solutions can be brought on board with minimal delay providing immediate and autonomous shelter across most parts of Australia-our aim is an end to involuntary unsheltered living Australia wide within 12 months of inception.

Charged Chinchilla CSG Whistleblower's case adjourned...
In a continuance of the high farce surrounding the arrest of Chinchilla anti-CSG activist John
Jenkyns his appearance today resulted in a further adjournment until the end of January because someone on the prosecution side didn't have their paperwork together.
This is a typical police prosecution tactic used to draw out a case to the point that their ultimate loss in some years time means the charged person's freedom to protest has been undermined. It is the resort of politically motivated state prosecutions where police and prosecution know their case to be contrived or at its highest extremely weak.

"A Sydney Anti CSG Whistleblower solidarity Rally today called for widespread public support for vexatiously charged Queensland Gas Company CSG extraction affected resident John Jenkyns.
Corporations go to extraordinary lengths to avoid the effects of protest, none more so than todays target who not only shut uo shop but demolished the building they previously occupied.
Today Whistleblowing anti CSG activist and CSG affected resident John Jenkyns appeared in Chinchilla Court charged with using a carriage service ( Facebook ) to deliver a menace against Queensland Gas. The hypocrisy is stark. QGC are menacing and causing actual personal harm to John his community and our
This use of law to effect terror extract activist silence and render protest opposition ineffective is a backdoor implementation of laws which will apply to all under the TransPacific Partnership if and when that draconian instrument is ever implemented.
Johns charges do not serve the interests of justice. Instead they serve to cause fear within the activist community of costly legal hurdles and persecution by a police force empowered to protect corporations against the will of the people.
Johns charges if proven have ramifications for social media users who will all be at risk of malicious persecution by police for anything they say online. Given Queenslands predisposition to use laws such as VLAD which selectively apply to government chosen sections of the community the reasoned expectation is that these laws will be used to target anyone who opposes government~corporate conspiracy against the best interests of community and environment.
Occupy Sydney and Love Activism stood in Solidarity with John Jenkyn today to show John that he is not alone. And as the hammer of injustice seeks to crush activists globally we will stand with them too. When injustice becomes law resistance becomes duty. Lower Macquarie eco destruction: out of sight out of mind?

What's happening in the Lower Macquarie ? Over the next three weeks the Harris Aggregation have plans to slash and burn trees in a massive area of the Glenacre / Larrimar properties.
The slash and burn operation which began about December the 18th 2014 has already cleared a large area. There was not even a notification to neighbours much less a public process giving the public and local stakeholders There are a number of concerns - our first being for the wildlife habitat. Death Adders lizards and other fauna depend on the dead logs in the wooded areas for their existence. Other fauna depend on the refuge of the many tree clusters which will be destroyed.
As there has been no public notice of development we have to wonder what they intend to do? We don't know for example if they plan to dam the Macquarie River. We don't know because there has been no public notification. No permits have been posted or sighted.

End breach-of-promise: My 2015 New years wish
Everyone has a New Years wish, If this one comes true it will deliver a better future.
My New Years wish is that every politician and candidate for Federal State and Local Body Elections be legally accountable for their promises- and required to cross the floor against their party if necessary- with laws which enable immediate removal of politicians for breach-of-promise.
An election or any promise by a politician means absolutely nothing when upon election they can just do what they like without consequence. All the parties in the world will not fix this. And it is the absence of harsh legal penalty which undermines democracy.
In the current political paradigm in Australia politicians can promise the earth and deliver the contents of the toilet bowl -without penalty. You have witnessed a round robin of politicians who have done precisely this.
On the 1st of Jaunary 2015 a simple contract will be sent to every current politician in Australia. It will invite them to sign a pledge to endorse the introduction of this as Federal law. It will be retrospective to 1995. Under this proposed law offending politicians will risk losing all their assets as well as serving jail time.
This should be the basis of democracy.
A simple question and answer form will accompany the mail-out asking representatives to take a stand on some issues of concern as a contractual agreement with their constituents. Their answers or failure to do so will help you choose who you will vote for at the next local body, state and federal elections. PLEASE SUBMIT CLEAR QUESTIONS FOR OUR PANEL TO CONSIDER to occupysydney@gmail.com by January 15th..

Redfern Tent Embassy Activist Jenny Munro Arrested bailed
Following an incident at the Redfern Aboriginal Tent Embassy earlier during which Ms Munro defended herself against an outsider aggressor Police applied their usual selective colour blindness to arrest and charge Jenny Munro with assault. Jenny has been released with her current bail conditions banning her from being at the Tent Embassy. There are no charges against her assailant , an outside agent provocateur , and no known orders preventing her returning to attack other protesters.

- Take your food and water if you possibly can.
- Take a sleeping bag

Beware Centrelink Medicare Spyware apps
Helping a homeless guy with his online centrelink form this morning via his S5 Galaxy and they now invite you to download the free app. So I checked before installing as you do. It wants access to your photos contacts maps and lots of other things you probably rather would keep personal. Things your government have no right to know about you. Like what your politics or religion are potentially allowing recruiters and employers to select employees on those basis, a neat form of economic apartheid. There is no mention of course of what will be done with the information. No mention of how invaluable it is for human resource profiling. and linking you to those wageslavery employers Centrelink JSAs covet. Is your human profiling being shared with other human resource organisations limiting your opportunity of better paid opportunities? With LNP or Labor in charge you should assume so. Human Services is already the major harvester of your personal information in Australia with the most intimate details of your health wealth and potential to deliver profits to others while they deliver you into poverty. Please think carefully before installing this new level of privacy invasion.
